What we collect
Account: your name, email, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Your Kitchen: recipes you save, import, or write; recipe photos you add; your meal plan, grocery list, pantry, collections, and food preferences.
Community: comments, likes, follows, reports, and blocks. If you become a Chef, your public profile, photo, and published recipes.
Households: who is in your household, so you can share a Kitchen.
Purchases: whether you have ForkCast Plan and when it renews. Apple handles payment; we never see your card.
Chef memberships: which Chefs you've joined, what you pay, and when it renews, plus your Stripe customer ID. Stripe handles your card; we never see the number. Chefs who get paid give their bank and tax details to Stripe, not to us.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
Who processes it
Convex hosts our database and file storage. RevenueCat manages App Store subscriptions using an anonymous account ID. Apple processes App Store payments. Stripe processes Chef membership payments and Chef payouts. When you import a recipe link, our server fetches that public page.
On your phone
Your sign-in is kept in the iOS Keychain. Dinner reminders are scheduled on your phone from your meal plan. Camera and photo access are used only when you choose a recipe or profile photo.
Your choices
Edit or delete your recipes, comments, and profile anytime. Delete your account in Profile → Settings → Delete account; that removes your account and everything you've added, and cancels any Chef memberships. People in your household keep their own Kitchens.
